📼: Quarantine (2008) is an American remake of the Spanish film REC (2007). It follows a reporter and her camera man trapped inside a building during an outbreak of a virus turning humans into ravaging killers. Available on VOD.
📼: The Blair Witch (1999) upon its release this film caused audiences to be so immersed due to it being introduced as one of the first found footage films of all time. Most believed it to be true events unfolding on screen. The marketing for this film was unlike any before. Truly kicking off the found footage craze. Available on Amazon Prime, PLEX, and Freevee.
📼: Spree (2020) fast forward to the digital age, this film is actually inspired by true events. It follows Kurt who is a ride share driver and aspiring social media influencer who will do anything to go viral. Live streaming the entirety of the events. Available now on Hulu.

I didn’t use to be able to watch horror movies before, because anything with ghosts, demons, or witches would trigger my CPSTD. But last year I watched a movie that would’ve normally triggered me and it didn’t! The CPTSD treatment I’ve been doing with my therapist must have finally made something click in my brain! So now instead of only being able to read the summaries online, I can now fully experience them for myself!
